As such, we have been proactive in our approach to the February 2003 European Union Directive 2002/95/EC regarding the restrictions of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS). Therefore, we are very pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2005 all of our multi-turn variable capacitors are in compliance with this directive. Effective June 1, 2005, all half-turn (”J” Series) variable capacitors will be in compliance with this directive.
