Voltronics has expanded its non-magnetic product line to support our
customers designing NMR and MRI systems. Custom designs are available upon request.
Variable Capacitors
Extensive families of multiturn trimmer capacitors have been developed using air,
glass, quartz, sapphire, and PTFE dielectrics for both low and high-voltage applications. Models can
be specified with total capacitance as low as 1.2 pF or as high as 250 pF.
Chip Capacitors
High-performance non-magnetic chip capacitors range in size from 0.110 x 0.110 in.
to 0.38 x 0.38 in. and with capacitance values as low as 0.1 pF. High voltage ratings (to 7200 V) can be
supplied.
Inductors/Baluns
Non-magnetic air-coil inductors and potted inductors are ideal for critical MRI
system designs. In addition, Voltronics offers a variety of non-magnetic balanced-to-unbalanced transformers
for challenging impedance-matching requirements.
Hardware
Voltronics’ experience in understanding high-purity metals with no measurable
magnetism has also been applied to the production of a wide range of non-magnetic hardware.
Disc Capacitors
Designed specifically for demanding magnetic resonance applications, these disk
capacitors are produced to ensure the highest performance with no magnetic-field perturbation.
Connectors
Available as PC-mount plugs, straight or right-angle jacks, these non-magnetic
SMB connectors provide outstanding electrical performance for magnetic resonance systems. The
connectors can also be supplied as completely non-magnetic cable assemblies.
Diodes
For applications requiring non-magnetic diodes and diode switches, Voltronics
offers an extensive lineup that includes PIN diodes and Schottky diodes.
